Viscosity Grade Bitumen

Viscosity Grade Bitumen shall be prepared by the distillation of suitable crude, petroleum oil without subsequent blending with other grades. The material shall be homogenous and shall not foam when heated to 175°C. No Mineral matter other than naturally contained in the material shall be present.
Paving Bitumen covers physical and chemical requirement for use in Roads, Airfields and allied construction. Also some of the grades may be used for industrial purpose.

This material used in Construction and maintenance of Roadways, Saturant for roofing felt, electrical cables for manufacturing Bitumen Emulsion etc.
